A made up conspiracy theory to force another political agenda down the throats of taxpayers.

Not a theory.
"Global Meltdown," or whatever else you plan on calling it soon, is not like the "Save the Whales" or the "Save the Rainforest" dilemmas that were so important years ago, but have taken a back seat to the government backed theory of an Apocalyptic scorched earth.
After all, a bunch of tee shirt wearing hippies asking for money to save the earth, certainly is unable to compete with a government that imposes laws where you must pay them money to save the earth you inhabit.
Sort of like a lifelong rent.

you are destroying the earth, so pay us to fix it.

Ummmm, CO2 emissions from automobiles and from expelled breathing is responsible for the polar ice caps melting away?
Yawwwwn.

The argument for "Global Warming" can be bent either way to appease any one side. That of course is true if both sides actually have theories and facts. In this case, all global warming information is based on theory, nothing factual.
Anyone can say:
1- "I remember water skiing in that lake years ago, when it was filled with water, it must be global warming".
Just like another person could say:
2- "I stopped water skiing in that lake years ago, when they began flushing water out to nearby, newly developed communities".
That is how "spin" is used on the most simplified statements to create an agenda.
If you get a bunch of people wearing white lab coats and glasses to make statements like the first one, pretty soon the people who made the second statement will either begin to believe the first statement, or you'll get someone like me who says, "yer nuts".
The first statement is based on an untested and unproven THEORY.
The second statement is based on a FACT.
For every scientist who promotes the theory of global warming, there are the same number of scientists who shatter that theory.
Every single test that has been done to investigate even the slightest possible occurrence of global warming has been theorized, not proven accurately.
I believe that this whole hoax began with liberal, environmental, Whacko theorists.
Theorists who combined loads of environmental theories to make up a "Save the Earth" kind of cause for a different agenda.
These theorists believe that the rising population of humans, along with an increase of steady economic growth, is what's taking up precious real estate here on earth, and it must be stopped. These theorists realized that no sane/stable government would impose such restrictions that would generate less tax income, so they approached it from a different angle.
(Those smart tree huggers).
The theorists began to blame the supposed warming of the planet earth on who else?
Us. The human inhabitants. Governments like the idea of its citizens screwing things up, so they can charge the citizens to fix it. Every handyman charges a profit to fix a problem. The government is no different.
The theorists say that the consumption and burning of fossil fuels is ruining the planet. This is done to try and restrict economic growth and in roundabout way, supposedly to save the earth.
Think about it.
If I approached a government in a "Save the Whales" tee shirt and madly stated that too many people on earth were imposing on earth's natural beauty and resources, and the government itself had to stop it by imposing restrictions on infrastructure and energy consumption (meaning less governmental money), they would laugh me away.
But...
If I approached a government wearing glasses and a white lab coat, and then calmly stated that due to changes in the earth's atmosphere the citizens needed the government's assistance.
Cha-Ching!
They'd listen.
I would state that the ocean's water levels are changing, that frequent and violent weather patterns are occurring, and we were draining our wells dry of natural resources (gas and oil).
I would show statistics (taken from theories, not proven facts of course) that explain that the only way to combat the Global Warming "theory", was to:
-enact laws (that bring in tax money to the govt)
-help the citizens (by bringing in even more tax money to the govt)
-save the earth (look at all this tax money!)
The government is not dumb.
They see this is a long term investment.
They move their agenda slowly, yet efficiently.
To get as much tax money as possible.
For a long looong time.
Now, fast forward 10-15 years after this " honest governmental interest" began.
What's different?
Liberal theorists have infiltrated the government.
They are given titles and offices in the Energy Deptartment.
They are given the green light to enact laws that restrict the use of natural resources.
Energy prices have skyrocketed.
Energy consumption itself goes down, but the price stays high.
Liberal theorists have infiltrated the education system.
They teach impressionable minds that the earth is dying, and it is our fault.
It starts off in the younger grades, with recycling, then slowly creeps up to Global Armageddon.
So now basically, you have children being taught that human existence is in fact, destroying the planet and that we should all live in 4x4 cubicles and wash our underwear in drinking water to conserve energy and water. Yadda, yadda, yadda.
Which brings me to the present day.
Look at how the government spent all these years dreaming up new ways to hose us all in the name of saving the earth.
An emissions law was signed by Obama that puts new government restrictions, on an already injured automobile industry. The emissions law will cost a family on average, an extra $1300 per year. This is in the name of saving the planet. On a theory.
Oil exploration and drilling has nearly grinded to a thumping halt in America. We cut off our fossil fuel extraction available to us in our own country, yet pay billions of American dollars to middle eastern, terrorist harboring countries, and unstable Latin American countries to use their fossil fuel resources. Gas and oil prices continue to skyrocket, yet our government refuses to lower its own government taxes on the industry to help the consumers. This is in the name of saving the planet. On a theory.
US Energy Secretary Steven Chu announced this past Tuesday in London (at the climate change symposium), that the Obama administration was open to the idea of painting roofs, an energy-reflecting white, to bounce off harmful sun rays, so basically, a home does not need to use more energy to keep cool.
Umm, what?
There are loads more of restrictions that have been enacted, or are on their way.

After years of concocting ways to hose the American tax payer into forking over more money to the government, they do the one thing that they continuously promise not to do during every election cycle. And that is not to raise taxes.
They should actually say "I will not raise taxes" *unless it's to save the earth.
