On June 18, 2009, the U.S. Senate voted unanimously to pass a
resolution apologizing for slavery. Very honorable. Now the Democrats
should beg African-Americans for forgiveness since it is the Democrats
themselves that have attempted to keep blacks down to pass their own
political agenda for years.
The fundamental premise of the Democratic Party is (and always was) to
make their minority constituents (blacks and Hispanics) continuously
reliant upon the government for assistance. Basically, the Democrats
want their constituents sucking from the governments "teet" as long as
possible, or until they are no longer useful.
The Democrats have a long and documented history of making minorities a
political ploy to handcuff the Republicans from opposing the Democrat
nominees (the latest cases being Obama and Sotomayor).

The Democrats use government assistance program promises, (which are
funded by tax paying citizens) to "sweeten" the loyalty from possible
dependent minorities. Over the years minorities have been told by the
Democrats that they should expect, and should demand government
assistance because they are being "held back" by the Republicans. When
in fact, the Republicans actually promote equality for all who
contribute to society. Below are some facts that African-Americans
should remind themselves of before idolizing the Democratic Party.
"I leave you, hoping that the lamp of liberty will burn in your bosoms
until there shall no longer be a doubt that all men are created free
and equal." - Abraham Lincoln
Abraham Lincoln (R) became the 16th President of the Unites States and
he did it on the platform of being an opponent to the expansion of
slavery that was wanted by the southern Democrats. Once elected,
Lincoln also had to deal with the "Civil War" which occurred not only
because of the Southern states threat to secede from the Union, but
also because of slavery. Red blood was spilled by both whites and
blacks for the freedom of this nation's slaves. Lincoln then soon
passed The Emancipation Proclamation where approximately 4 million
slaves were freed by July 1865.
It was Richard Nixon (R) who actually drove and defined Affirmative
Action when he took office in 1969. It was the Democrats who corrupted
Affirmative Action since it's inception by handing out rewards to
minorities, for just being a minority (making it a quota system).
Democrats never used Affirmative Action the way it was constructed to
be used for, which was to help minorities get their balance in society
before taking the training wheels off, but the Democrats abused this
policy by using Affirmative Action as a wheelchair instead of a crutch
to assist minorities. Now for you Democrats foaming at the mouth saying
it was in fact John F. Kennedy who started Affirmative Action, it
wasn't. Kennedy coined the phrase in Executive Order 10925, which he
signed into law regarding equal employment opportunities in 1961.

Also in the 1960's, a Republican by the name of Dr. Martin Luther King
Jr. fought the Democrats for denying civil rights to blacks. The battle
King had with the Democrats eventually led to his death.

Why is it acceptable for Democrats to say that Michael Steele is a "Simple Sambo", or Condoleeza Rice is a "Mammy?"

Why can Kanye West make an asinine statement during Hurricane Katrina
that "George Bush doesn't like black people" and get away with it? Why
was there no outrage from the black Democratic community?

George Bush doesn't like black people? Lets review some of his high profile appointments.
Bush's secretary of state was a black man- Colin Powell
Bush's second secretary of state was a black woman- Condoleeza Rice
Bush's national security advisor was a black woman- Condoleeza Rice
Bush's director of personnel management was a black woman- Kay Coles James
Bush's deputy attorney general was a black man- Larry D. Thompson
Bush's chairman of the FCC was a black man- Michael Kevin Powell
Bush's general counsel to the education department was a black man- Brian Jones
Bush's assistant education secretary was a black man- Gerald Reynolds
Bush's director of HUD was a black man- Alphonso Jackson
Why didn't you know this? Because Bush never blared, that he was going
to create an administration that "looks like America" like Clinton had
said, or had press conferences like Obama has done repeatedly promising
multiculturalism for photo ops. Bush nominated and recruited a diverse
Cabinet because he felt it was the right thing to do. A matter of fact,
Bush had more blacks and Hispanics as advisers than Clinton had in
office, or Obama has now. Special interest groups like the NAACP
opposed Bush for his asking of the curtailing of affirmative action in
colleges, because affirmative action was and still is flawed. It's not
helpful to a minority (or anybody) to just hand things to, when they
could obtain it on their own. Where's the incentive to work harder? Or
just work for that matter?
Let's not forget George Bush Sr. who nominated Clarence Thomas to serve
on the Supreme Court. Remember what the Democrats thought of that
nomination?

Anyone can join the team, just bring your own equipment and play the field before you take an at bat. It's as simple as that.
Wake up sheeple.
